A scheme

When Kendall and I moved, he came up with another one of his schemes...to build a couch. Some how he talked me into it, and we came up with a design.

So, we started out with this bad Larry that someone was giving away on KSL

We cut it all apart in order to harvest the foam.

Next, we laid everything out and started to assemble a frame. Burke and Chels came by to check out our project.

Here we are cutting the wood for the frame.

Eventually we got to this point, the frame was pretty much done.

So, we then laid out all the cushions on the frame and glued everything in place.

Next, we laid out some more padding on the top

Then glued some batting and muslin on top to keep everything in place.

Finally, we made a back rest. We also bought some fabric and sewed a slip cover for the top and stapled it in place.

The end result was this bad dad that did not turn out as great as we wanted, big surprise. It ended up being a much more extensive project then originally thought. Luckily, we have Laurel who made our place look way better!

Uh, that is something that Marshall would try to convince me to let him do! You are a good wifey to support Kendall in his "scheme." From the picture it looks like the couch turned out pretty good!
